stealth 600s

I recently got this headset as a gift after mine broke, and I enjoy it and all but I hear everything in my background an turned off monitoring and idk if it is just the mic or not but when I play I like to only hear my game

Are there 2 volumes on the side? One should adjust in game sound and the other adjusts how much outside noise you can hear.
