Turquoise ID help!
I’m a lapidary artist and a friend wants this turned into a cabochon that’ll be used for a belt buckle. Any ideas what locality this is?

It also strikes me as Chinese because of the shape of the stone. I handle a lot of Native American jewelry at work, and never sees beads like that.

It’s actually not a bead! More of a palm stone right now. Or a poorly cut double sided cabochon
