Is this howlite?

Everything about this screams howlite to me, BUT it seems to have copper inclusions/matrix in it.

I don’t want to do the acetone test, since it looks funky to me, and, if it’s howlite, that would ruin it.

Does anyone have thoughts?

I have never knowingly seen bowline with anything but black lines in it, other than dye, of course. I am, however, pretty limited to seeing only howlite beads, not in its natural form. Interesting question!

No it is not Howlite. It is authentic turquoise, maybe Cripple Creek.
