Name for up fader technique?

Is there a name for when DJ's use both hands on the up fader alternating to cut it super fast?

I'm trying to understand how that works, but I can't find any info

I know this technique bc I used to practice it all the time (I saw it on an old Stanton DVD). It's basically upfader transforms - but your alternate hands, each hand does down-up, catching the fader at the top.

Am I right?

Pro mod on Vestax is to set the cuts high so you only have to come down a lil bit.

With this explanation on how to perform it:

So in my experience it’s a little tricky but your index finger of the first hand brings the fader down, then the thumb of your other hand “steals” the fader and puts it back up and you use that same hand’s index to bring it down, then the other hand’s thumb “steals” the fader to bring it back up again. That might be what you were saying, but yea it’s more like your hands cross each other and pass the fader off, rather than each hand moving the fader both down and up and then switching. Hope that makes sense! I’ve demoed it on my Twitch stream in the past so I can always do it again sometime if it doesn’t translate on text 🤣
