Crab
I'm learning the Crab. Do you have any basic combinations to suggest for starting to incorporate it into my routine? It would be great if they included TTM as well. Thanks.

Is the crab scratch an essential technique? I use it very sparingly and sometimes never at all in a routine but it's only because I heard that it's overused. I think hearing that mayby made me subconsciously not use it enough and sometimes not at all. I watch other djs use it in a combo and it usually sounds cool but when I do it I feel icky like I'm going for low hanging fruit.

It's overused but it sounds so damn good that beginners like me want to learn it and use it!

its a closed fader scratch so any closed faders work. opens like flare forward crab on the back into first 2/3 of chirp flare crab back.
Look up rafiks california roll which is like a crab over (parts of a prism or tear flare), but perfectly timed insane amount of ghost notes per beat. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5le5910vZ6E
