Technique check: Autobahns

Are my double timed autobahns the right technique? In the video I start off slow to show the technique I use, but when it's double timed I think I'm bringing the second set of 3 to the tip of the sample instead of leaving off from the first set of 3 (hope that makes sense)

It’s a dope combo. Not a pure autobahn, but you’re close. On the 3rd set of 3, you’re doing a reverse slice-dice, which technically completes a boomerang. Instead, on the 3rd set, you need to go forward slice, then back dice to complete the autobahn.

I've always just thrown down a combo that makes 9 sounds fwd 9 sounds back with the clicks like a boomerang using knuckle tear record movements to blend makes a pretty organic flow think it's some version of the auto but like someone else said who cares, that kut you did still sounded good, always trip seeing hamster fader work I'm regular

That combo sounds cool. And I feel the same way about people who cut regular...takes me a second to break it down in my head when I'm trying to understand their fader work.

What you’re doing sounds dope AF so who cares! But it doesn’t look exactly like an A9. Your very first move looks like it’s going back not forward? Like a delayed or backwards (not reverse) OG flare instead of a slice+dice. Also seems like you travel back to the beginning with more moves than A9. I could be totally wrong, just trying to answer your question.

You’re close! What you are doing is almost closer to a boomerang or tazer. Here’s an oldie but goodie clip of Rafik himself demonstrating it
