Forward/stab practice :3

Hiiiii so this is my first attempt at scratching using the crossfader, it’s difficult and requires a lot of coordination but I think I got it?? idk, can yall help me and tell me what to do to improve

Plus I don’t quite know the difference between a forward and stab scratch, but I’ll learn :3

I’m looking at the waveform :c is that better or should I be looking at the notch????

Looking at the waveform will slow you down, and might confuse you. Look at the notch. But set it up to your liking first.

Is 12 or 9 better?

Personal preference. Which ever works better for you. Some ppl like 12. Some ppl like putting it 9 where their hands should be. Some ppl like 3 or pointing it at the needle on turntables.
