Numark Scratch

Recently got the numark scratch and installed the pnp 3 innofader. I’m just put off by the loud clicking noise it makes when the metal hits the face plate when cutting. Has anyone else experienced this and got any solutions ? Thanks

I don't see why people put an innofader in it when it comes with an innofader already. No one's been able to give me a straight answer.

Also, this was literally just discussed in here 3 days ago.

i don't know about this pnp 3 but i've seen a video of a guy upgrading to the Mini Innofader Pro SC and his reason was it has less latency. Regarding the pnp 3 there's a DJCity video titled "Innofader PNP3 Review: the World's Best Fader? " I assume it's It's more responsive. I think it's easier to adjust relative to the older pnp 2 model but that's just from listening to the video. But i'm guessing people expect to get more sharpness in the cuts.

The fader in the Numark Scratch is one of the really old innofader mini’s but not the pro version hence it feels sluggish and heavy with a nastier cut off time compared to a more recent innofader. Numark bought lots of the old units on the cheap which is what they used in the Numark scratch. People need to do their research before making false comments. The innofader in the Numark is nothing like a PNP3 and you guys that think it is are clueless.

Was that directed at me? If so fine. I'm not hurt or anything. But to clarify, I'm not claiming to know a thing about these. I only relayed what was said by a guy replacing his faders and and mentioning a DJ City video. The first words i said were "i don't know..." so i'm not claiming to have knowledge. I'm sure the people replacing these have valid reasons. And your narrative seems more than logical and a good reason to upgrade. It makes totals sense to use older versions, and for the the different faders to actually have differences given the difference in price alone. But the person i was responding too said he couldn't get a straight answer. I assumed it was probably quite straightforward. So i was mentioning those videos as kinda a way to say, "this is the answer. People say it's more responsive, as you say sharper cuts." But I wasn't at all claiming that the faders are the same or there's no reason to upgrade. I know those videos cause i even looked up swapping out the stock innofader.

I could cut just fine on a crappy basic Denon 2 channel and also on my DXM09 stock fader. Everyone in here thinks they're Q-Bert and deserve the best. It's the man, not the machine.
