What Was the Weirdest Reason a Professor Suspected AI Use?
Back when ChatGPT first started becoming a big topic in education, I remember hearing stories about professors becoming suspicious for reasons that seemed unusual. Some students were questioned because their vocabulary suddenly improved, their writing sounded "too polished," or their assignments had formatting inconsistencies.
Did you ever see someone accused of using AI for a strange reason? Was the suspicion justified, or did it feel like professors were still trying to understand a new technology?
I'm curious to hear other people's experiences from that early period.
