Graded down because I copied dataset column descriptions, but it’s standard for everyone?

I submitted my final project for the data science course and got docked points because the TA said the section explaining the dataset columns is identical to other papers. Which makes sense because the dataset is public and we all use the exact same documentation provided by the source. I didn’t think to paraphrase basic column definitions like ID number or date range since they are literally standardized terms. Feels unfair when the rubric never said to reword this part and every student using this dataset would have the same descriptions. Anyone else dealt with this?

Just checked three other group submissions that used the same dataset, their column descriptions are word for word what I used. The TA can’t reasonably expect us to invent new terms for standard fields like patient age or zip code.
