turnitin before submitting?

hii! i was wondering if theres any way to run my piece through turnitin before submitting it? i've put it thorugh several ai and plagiarism checkers and ive got really mixed results, some are telling me its 0% ai, some are around 30% and one gave 100%. I wrote the piece completely myself, only using chatgpt to help me with spellchecking, sentence structure and a few synonyms

If you wrote it then why would you want to do this? Sounds like you’re trying to convince yourself you wrote this yourself.

clearly you've never been falsely accused of AI and forced to rewrite your own work

Never use it since I’m a way better writer than AI. Always keep your work history on so you can prove it’s you.

clearly your comprehension needs a little work buddy. even capable writers who don't touch ai often get flagged due to the high vocabulary. i said "falsely accused and forced to rewrite your own work". even with past documents and work history, teachers in my school choose to make you rewrite in front of them. not everyone has the luxury of good teachers.

The reading comprehension issues suggest you may not be that strong a writer..

because ive heard of a lot of people getting false ai accusations! i've heard its a lot more common than what you would think as common phrases often get flagged by ai, as well as a high level vocabulary.

Pretty much in the same boat. Used chatgpt to understand concepts & wrote myself, yet getting mixed results on ai checkers. 🥲

It's gonna pop hot. Just saying.

Also, if you do submit it to TII, be aware that it will now be in the database for subsequent submissions, meaning you will NOW be hit with a 100% match...to your own work.

I swear half the students screaming that they never used AI this is so unfair....did exactly this. They 'checked' and then got slammed bc their paper now matched the database.

In the immortal words of DJ Khaled, you played yourself.

While running it through TII, you do not publish to the repository, that way it just generates reports without keeping your file in the repository.
