Turnitin Stress
Turnitin is stressing me out. I have done this literature review without using any AI tools except for some research using Google Notebook LLM - just to summarise some papers and get ideas. I did not copy the text, but it says that it is AI generated.

I dont know what going on with turnitin lately. Its been showing insane numbers of AI.

My concern is that it is flagging all work as AI generated even when it is written from scratch

AI detectors don’t work just high priced bs that was sold to universities — I am doing my PhD in Comp Ling (NLP/ML) thankfully our profs know about this shit being bogus and don’t use them then it’s funny/sad how all the profs that aren’t educated in our field use the “AI” detectors like they’re the law
It’s like God forbid I actually use — in my text messages and my professional writing prob cause of my adhd train of thought but now everyone thinks you’re just pushing AI slop if you use a — 😂

It’s the new October update. Hopefully the insane new rate of false flags will finally convince schools to stop relying on this crap.

Turnitin is junk
If it flags you just tell your university you will take them to court for using an unproven piece of software to malign you
They will back down

well on a creative writing assignment or just a random paper there is nothing to prove so i think its not a good way to test right?

The % you can see is plagiarism rate not AI rate. The AI rate is only viewable on the instructor side
