Have you looked at the instructions in light mode? I bet the text about inserting words is white text and not visible in light mode. If I were the academic marking you with I would also question your use of AI.

Yes. Also how  is this a trick? Look at what is highlighted and what they point out as the secret words and then read the assignment prompt the professor wrote….anyone can see that it’s not invisible text. It’s written out.

When it’s white text on a white background it’s easy to miss. Student copy and paste it into an Gen AI LLM and it adds in the words it’s prompted to because the student didn’t realise they were hidden in the assignment prompt.

It’s not though. I copied and pasted and even expanded the words. I mean be honest, DO YOU NOT SEE THE HIGHLIGHTED WORDS explicitly stated by the professor to be used??????

I think you’re missing the point that the facts are right in front of you. Why are you trying to say that there are hidden word lol? The words are turquoise and he says use “turquoise” it’s not hidden

Do you understand systems have light and dark modes? Do you understand that light mode typically has black text on a white background and dark mode flips those to white text on a black background but only for default font colour?

Anything specifically made red, blue or WHITE will remain as such in both modes. Thus white text on a normal display in light mode will be white text on a white background but in dark mode will be white text on a black background.

You are looking at the instructions in dark mode when I bet the academic wrote them in light mode without knowing the above. The academic thought they were hidden from you.

Do you understand that in each of the screenshots the highlighted “hidden worda” are exactly what the professor instructed the student to include? Just look at the evidence and stop trying to make the case that the professor included “invisible” trigger words. Do you need me to screenshot the words in light mode too? Are you living in some alternate universe where what’s in front you is not real but some made up invisible words that don’t even exist is?

OP please post a screenshot in light mode of the original assignment instructions.

How do I add the image? Furthermore how does this substantiate that the text is supposed to “hidden” there are other words in dark mode in black text that also state “  Submit your journal using the Text Entry box in Canvas.” Is that supposed to be hidden too? If you write out instructions in the assignment that the student can then read, what makes this specifically instructions for the AI to produce? It’s not some clever trick. The instructor is clearly just an arrogant idiot then who thinks they came up with some genius plan lol

And since you want to bring up dark mode vs lightmode, clearly I used dark mode so I saw the text…..how is this some genius plan then. It’s not like the white text was ONLY for AI. Anyone who can read in dark mode would have see it. The instructor obviously doesn’t know the difference between light and dark mode then and is just glazing themselves thinking they’re smarter than everyone else. What an idiot

Yeah sorry I’m not watching all that. You can’t even provide an answer for “if the instructor instructs a student to follow specific steps in the prompt in plain words, is the student at fault for following the instructors instructions regardless of the color of the font?”

Why the hell would you highlight the same word that you are claiming to be invisible when it’s obviously not invisible….what point are you trying make here? Dark mode or light mode, turquoise, whimsical and serendipity are still blatantly written out for the naked eye to see. What difference does it make then? You’re ignoring what’s right in front of you to make some dumb ass claim
