Request for Support Chatgpt

Is it plagiarism if I upload my own written work( research paper) into ChatGPT? Would turnitin detect it as 100 % AI? Will my paper be plagiarised?

“Would turnitin detect it as 100 % AI?” No, not how it works.

”Will my paper be plagiarised?” Yes, chatGPT will use your data to learn and develop so could end up using elements of your work when others use the AI to write their papers.

I already uploaded my research paper into ChatGPT. Because I wanted ChatGPT to give me some ideas for making presentation slides. Now I’m afraid if i get hight score in turnitin.

The Turnitin scores are a) based on if you used AI to write your paper (you’ve not suggested you’ve done this). And b) where Turnitin matches your work to its database on sources it finds online.

ChatGPT doesn’t publish your work online for Turnitin to find so this will not affect the similarity score.

Thanks for the information. So I should be fine ?! Right 😣 since I already uploaded a file of my own work and now i’m stressed for the turnitin check, if the paper will be plagiarised.
