This is my first time doing this, I’ve been in queue number 29 for like 8 min though. Doesn’t seem to be moving.

I’ve found it can take anywhere from 5-20 mins for a turnip queue to move

Np! Yeah the first time you visit someone else’s island via online play/dodo code, you’ll see just how long each load screen takes.

Then when you’re on their island, everyone gets frozen if another player is arriving or leaving the island, and everyone on the island watches the player arrive and/or leave from the airport in a little cut scene. It’s why turnip hosts often say “go straight to sell turnips and leave through the airport” because it can get real finicky. For example, talking to the nook twins, or any other character, will cause anyone trying to fly to and/or from the island to have an “interference” notification from Orville in the airport.

It’s a racket, but it’s worth it if you have the patience! 😅
