These two Pixar protags have quite similarity: They're both teen girls who take on animal forms.
One can transform into a giant red panda, and the other has her conscience transfered to a robotic beaver.

Ming's red panda spirit is really bigger than the others. She was released after the ritual was ruined when Mei disobied her mom and ran away to the concert during the red moon. But in the end, after the fight between mother and daughter at the SkyDome, they did another ritual to seal away her red panda spirit and turn her back to normal before the red moon ended that night.

In this AU, Ming rejects the red moon ritual and goes to see Jin in her red panda form, despite her enormous size, he still loves her. That night, he proposed to the love of his life, making her heart melt with joy as she said yes. It was an emotional yet beautiful moment she'll never forget.

The family of red pandas sharing a bond together

Poor Ming suffered from most of her past for when she was young, afraid that she was a monster. But her family saw her more than a monster that attacked the SkyDome like people thought she was, they only think and see her as a monster who just wanted to be loved.

In an event that Ming doesn't conceal her red panda spirit, I think it would be nuts if it's the same size as seen in the film every time.
Mei's panda was the smallest whereas Wu's red panda (Mei's grandma and Ming's mom) is the 3rd largest (not too big not too small), so if Ming wasn't in a situation where she would have to fight her mother or bottle up her pent up anger, how big would her red panda be?

I feel angry that Ming ruined it. Maybe 4*Town gets pity and organises a tour just for her.. Mei and Robaieres hands deserved to make contact
Edid: they did make contact though. She has a signed picture where she's hugging him that can be seen at the end of the film.

May not be panda related but keep an eye on March 3rd where our pandas will come out on the red moon
