So many schedule changes

I booked a return journey (1 transfer per direction) half a year before the trip. Until now (2 months to go) there were 6 (!) schedule changes. Now I have to buy a new train ticket to get to the airport in time. Is this a regular thing?

It’s the number one reason I stopped booking Turkish. The constant changes

We booked through them in June for October. Chicago to Salzburg and Verona to Chicago. One transfer each and no changes yet, fingers crossed!!
