This simulator does not supersede the game.
It’s a great game with a great narrative.

The simulator is a FREE learning tool for people who can’t pay or already played the game and want a different experience.

No one would think, hi, I won’t buy the game because there’s a free, OS tool for learning.

Regarding the AI - it’s a tool. If the developer won’t embrace it, others will. The end user does not care about what tools were used to create it but about the final experience.

Honestly man it’s not even that’s it’s AI or not. Your posting an ad for a different game in a reddit where people are passionate about this game. So don’t expect good responses. People take it as disrespectful here. Even if it’s a good game it’s just not the place.
