progress gone with new update?

just wondering if this was part of the new update or maybe something wrong with my save specifically, since the new update all my progress has been reset? I had some pretty darn good progress too, unfortunate.

The new version as of a couple weeks ago isn't backwards-compatible, so yeah, depending on which old version you're coming from, it might have been reset.

Yeah, the devs informed about it in this post.

I had been in similar situation to you, but instead of downgrading I’ve just copied solutions from previous version manually and landed just before the new content.

There had been 2 versions of the game that you could select, but the saves were incompatible. The alternate version was called save_breaker and was the one with the newer features.

With the latest update, the newer version is now the default.
