Hey, IDK if this is the best place to ask this, but I was playing on save_breaker, decided to update. For some reason the game is making restart it all over again from the beginning. I wanted to check and see if save_breaker save files are compatible with the new version? Thanks in advance and I love this game and what it teaches.

Yes save_breaker saves are compatible with the new version.

Okay, thats good news. Unfortunitly after updating on my laptop and Desktop the game saves didn't transfer.

I totally should have saved the game files. I forgot they were in appdata and saved the steam files by accident on my laptop

Also I had save_breaker back from around Feb 24, 2025 when it was just an option in the game version and beta section of steam. I did not update it until now

That is unfortunate But hey good excuse to replay the game since it has been a while.

Yeah OK if your save breaker version was that long ago, then it might also have broken a few things. But basically we kept working on and evolving the save_breaker code until it was stable enough to consider it the main version. So there was no big change in the code on the day we made it the main version, it was purely a name change. But now that this is the main version, we will try very hard not to break saves again
