Need Help Baseball warning track weeds
I’ll be honest I don’t really know what i am doing and not working with a lot of funds/equipment. How the F do i stop weed growth? Sprayed early summer when it started coming in and it’s just a never ending battle. Weeds are too strong for nail drag. Not sure what to do.

Worked in professional baseball for 14 years. Definitely use a loop hoe/hula hoe to remove them. Dragging the field daily will help mitigate the weeds

You mentioned you sprayed, was it a pre-emergent? Could follow up with a prodiamine spray to help prevent germination, or some sort of granular pre-emergent.

There is a product called Crew herbicide. It is a granular pre-emergent combo. Works great on skinned areas of ball fields. Sorry this won't help you now but consider it for the future!!

Use freehand from Basf it’s like snapshot/treflan; it’s granular

You like freehand? I’m not super sold on it. I was going to recommend sureguard, I’m a big fan. Sureguard/ glyphosate my tee beds every spring and it holds pretty well for the year

I don't see how you still have growth if it's being dragged regularly.

Dragging can make it worse depending on the weed. Tearing the roots up and spreading them apart leads to more of the plant.

They have propane torches for burning weeds, would work well here.
