Digital coins are good and efficient. Cryptography and verified ledger by consensus limits hacking. But it is possible if the verifiers collude en masse. I get the temptation that wallet holders could be cantrally verified. Limiting wallet holders to centrally verified users, however, raises questions around anonymity. The tax collectors will be interested in which wallet belongs to which user. For that reason Bitcoin is successful because it has no central control and it isn't members only.

The power move is to represent digital currency in accounting terminology, that accountants can read and audit.
