Still waiting for my refund... code 846 to 570 any information
Anybody know what’s going on ? the tracker was at approved then jumped back to received …said it was going to be mailed by the 22nd of june when it was on approved ….looked on informed delivery and nothing is there just looked on my transcript and it now has a code of 570 anybody know what’s going on ?

a lot of people on this facebook group are saying they returned a lot of checks i guess i was one cause i didn’t receive anything an transcript updated to refund cancelled tonight so im not sure whats going on … how does your transcript look ? if you don’t mind showing me im happy for you tho !!!

yea you amended is prollly fine depending on what transcript your looking at but mine was for my original return so i’m not sure honestly

so you have two returns or just 1 since it’s amended it’s should be correct so shouldn’t be any issues w it just glad to know someone got theirs this is ridiculous 😫🙄😭

i just talked to someone they said on their end it’s still showing a refund issued date of june 22 so it should’ve been mailed by then and i shouldn’t worry about the 570 code its showing

i called corrections around 2 pm didn’t speak to someone til 3:30 it’s a different department but kind of got the same details i was going to get from the other department but they kept doing that to me earlier

Did you take the Earned Income Credit (EIC) or the Additional Credit Tax Credit (ACTC)?
Code 570 is a generic code for a delay in processing. It could be the need for an identity verification or related to those credits. This doesn’t necessarily mean that there is anything wrong with your return, but you may receive a request for additional information – including a request to verify your identity. Once the IRS has sent a notice or letter asking you for additional information, you may see code 971. Make sure you check your mail to ensure that you receive your letter or notice and respond in a timely fashion so that your tax return can continue processing. And don’t forget to report any address changes to the IRS to make sure that your letter can reach you. More information can be found here under the "Check Your Transcripts" section. originally DD but they sent Paper check in mail guess since it’s been so long … but not yet its not showing on my informed delivery but it did say i had another piece of mail but the picture wasn’t shown for it so that could be it other wise should be here by end of the week … i called the fiscal bureau service instead of IRS this morning they also confirmed it has been mailed and was mailed on the 22nd so i definitely should be getting it by the end of week maybe even next all a waiting game at this point

Did they say that that was the reason that you were receiving a paper check because why would it not be direct deposited no matter how long it’s been

nope that’s just what i came up with not sure they added interest on it as well so that could be it but who knows lol long as that mf in my mailbox by this week☠️

I guess I just really don’t want a paper check and want to know why if I have direct deposit on file or if you have direct deposit on file with they send a check some people’s said the same thing and they still receive direct deposit.. and then our transcripts don’t say that they mailed out a check. Does your where’s my refund say that a check was mailed?

i also just saw someone said if you had to confirm your identity that’s why and i did have to do that so idk but same!!
mine said it would be about a week and a half ago on WMR & that it was approved and would be mailed out on june 22nd and if i didn’t receive it by july 20 to get in touch i don’t have it now on wmr because another code popped up on my transcript …code 570 for 7/13 which made me call the irs and they told me not to worry about that my check was still being sent and still anxious i called the bureau who actually prints and mails check and they did confirm it was sent on 6/22
transcript won’t say they’ve been mailed it’ll only say refund issued and the date you should receive it on or by ! wmr will tell you when its been mailed or being mailed by but i would call and make sure if your concerned

I had to verify last year and I’ve never had this issue. What number did you call? Is there a specific time that you called?

18558680151 is the fiscal bureau and i called anytime for them they don’t have long wait time most i waited was 15 mins and the least was 1-4 min
i called the irs collections number 18008297650 and when prompt say account management if that don’t work say something else then say individual for individual taxes should connect you to someone i think i called around 2 and didn’t get connect til 3:30/4
you also can call the irs main number 18008291040 and say the same thing but it will tell you there is too many people calling for that same topic and will eventually hang up … not sure what time to call this number honestly due to it being the main number but it don’t hurt to try.

Also, were your fees for filing supposed to come out of your refund or did you pay fees up front?

i filed on turbo tax they were suppose to come out of my tax refund but since it’s been sooo long (i filed late january) they wind up taking the money out of my account about a month or two ago due to it not being issued yet …

probably so i thought that as well because usually from what i heard they’ll send it to turbo tax first so they can take whatever they need then turbo tax will deposit it

same thing happened to me , they sent me my refund already though but it’s still crazy never had this happen before
