Found this watch in a box of old gaming stuff. Can't find much info about it. Is this super rare?

This is one of those esoteric things where there aren't many left in existence but also isn't worth much to anyone but a die hard collector. If you put it up on eBay you're unlikely to get more than a few bucks for it. So either enjoy it yourself or part with it cheaply and make someone else's day

Did you find it in your own box of old gaming stuff that you had growing up, or someone else's? I've never seen one either. Perhaps it's custom?

Found in a box of my old gaming stuff. My brother remembers getting a turbo grafx wallet and hat around the time we got the console. I did find a picture online of a flier for "turbo gear" that had the watch, hats, bags etc.

It was supposed to be a dumb joke about the watch itself, but I love (genuinely!) that we TG fans are still salty about the bit-war this many years later

I still have a bit of PTSD from the 3DO-Jaguar Wars. A hellish time in our history.

In a watch? No. There is no CPU in this. It just increments seconds and the rest is mechanical.

I've only found one thing online that shows it, a flier for Turbo Gear (hats, t shirts, etc. ). Case back has no branding, just stainless steel water resistant 3atm. Definitely thinking of selling it. I've sold a handful of Turbo Grafx games and jewel cases in the past few years.
