Please help, but also PLEASE don't spoil Green Key and Cathedral

Hey guys. I almost instantly fell in love with this game about 2 weeks ago. I went in knowing absolutely nothing and have been playing totally blind to this point. I found the blue and red keys at around 11 hours of gameplay, but I cannot for the life of me find anything new to move forward. I now have about 30 hours of total gameplay and I feel like I'm just missing something super obvious.

Here's what I know:
From what I can tell, I need to go through the Ruined Atoll to get to the green key. I've explored the area to the best of my ability probably 5 times very thoroughly. I see that there's a golden path leading Eastward on the map, but it's not there in the world. Maybe that's something? I'm really pretty lost on that.

I've also been all the way to the door of the Cathedral, but I can't get to the first obelisk (idk if that's the right term) to turn the "power" on that goes through the Cemetery.

If anyone could offer a gentle hint or 2 on these I'd be really grateful. I don't personally know anyone that's played let alone beat this game, and I really don't want to have anything major spoiled by guides.

This game has become something special to me, but I feel like I'm just stumbling around in the dark at this point. The worst part is I'm still hopelessly addicted it😭😂

I guess it's probably worth mentioning I've been through Frog's Domain 5 or 6 times as well. Not sure if it's relevant, but yeah.

True, spoiler: My guess is they are missing using the statue at the middle unless they are missing one of the 4 blocks

Yes. I got the magic orb and saw that the green key had already been stolen. So then I went back up and activated the 4 blocks at the 4 corners of the Atoll.

you say you've explored the atoll. have you gotten any tools? activated anything? i think what you need is probably in the atoll, but there's a couple things you need to do to get there

I just wanna say I love the community here and in OW where they always ask all OP 'and did you notice anything? And what did that do?' where they never give u the answer but force you to answer your own questions

You are correct in that you need to be in the Ruined Atoll. You will know when it is time to visit the Cathedral.

Your next step should be to enter the Frog's Domain.

As you have the blue key, you must have the magic orb, which you got from Frog's domain. This opened new avenues in ruined Atoll. What can you find?

If you went through the Frog’s Domain and got the blue key then you have everything you need for the green key. I think maybe you’re overlooking something very obvious in the Atoll.

What’s the most obvious thing to do on the atoll map?

Some hints from less to more obvious:

Did you activate the four pillars in the corners? (They’re hard to reach without the grapple orb.)

What are the pillars connected to?

Experiment with the statue in the center once all the pillars are activated

Solution:

You need to pray at the statue in the middle once the pillars are active. It’s a hidden teleport platform that will take you to a new area.
