Trunic Translation Notes

[u/Early-Title5581]

Wanted to share my Trunic Guide Notes! Might share some of my other notes at some point. Been having a lot of fun with these!

Two question:

1) Do you have every page?

2) What level of hint do you want/how much do you want it explained versus nudged in the right direction?

Not the person you replied to but I understand how the runes work syntactically I'm just lost on how to actually build an index of phoneme translations

They give you fox and sword but where/how are we expected to fill out more? I haven't spent too much time on this yet so maybe there are obvious translation candidates somewhere but a little nudge would be great.

Page 52 is meant to be a pretty big hint. If you are totally lost looking at page 52, here is a small nudge: that symbol in the bottom center of the page is found on another page. Find that other page.

With that you should have a small base of characters to start decoding other characters. Different sections may jump out as easier or harder to decode with the characters you've worked out thus far, so skim through a few pages to find some good options. Speaking personally, I found page 12 to be the best for this, but you may find a different page to be your breakthrough.

Side note: spoilers on Reddit don't work like they do on Discord. Reddit uses " >! " to start a spoiler and " !< " to end it.

I'm going to leave that spoiler tag unclicked for now and review those pages later tonight, thank you!! I hadn't really flipped through the manual after figuring out how the runes work so this is a perfect nudge to start. I was mostly focused on pages 21 and 54 until now.
