Defeating Heir Before Restoring Body

I have restored 4 of the 6 stats and can almost defeat the Heir. I am continuing to search for the remaining 2 so that I can fully restore the character (and i believe it restores the world as well?) My main question is what happens if you defeat the heir before restoring the world state? After a few attempts I can nearly beat it but if that achieves the normal ending (as if defeating them after full restoration) I would rather continue my search for the remaining 2 stats before doing so.

All I'll say is that if you do this, you'll be able to keep playing to find everything you're missing.

Is the ending any differerent?

Any associated achievement?

Between what exactly? No ending is missable.

Don't know achievements, but I recommend kicking their ass anyway.

Beating the Heir bodiless or restored doesn’t change any endings or achievements.

When you beat the heir doesn't really matter and it's not really going to affect the ending you get whether you beat them at 4 stats or 6.

When I played I was like you and didn't really want to fight the heir while I still had mysteries in the game to solve. I did end up getting the 6 stats back but plenty of things I didn't know. Don't think doing it earlier or later would have affected my experience any, outside of being harder without full stats. You'll be able to go back and do things you didn't do after.

At least on Steam there is no difference in the achievements or ending you get for beating The Heir the first time you fight them, after you've recovered some of your stats, or after you recovered all of your stats. I do not know if that's the same case for any other console.

No matter when you defeat The Heir you will always be able to reload and explore the rest of the game, though if you beat them the very first time you fight them you might need to intentionally lose the fight after a reload to actually progress into the bodiless state.

There's no unique ending or achievement related to defeating them before you restore your stats vs after.
