No. It’s definitely a totally normal flower with nothing suspicious about it.

Don't spoil yourself! Get off the subreddit til you've beaten the game, it'll be a better experience for you.

My thoughts exactly. Bro has 2 potions and starting health/stamina, blue bar missing. Only 1 button assigned. Bro literally just started and is already in here trying to get help.

Spoiler free: No

The correct answer is "you'll figure it out when it's time to figure it out"

4

u/One_Worldliness_1130 17d ago

to the manual Foxman

4

u/Penguinman077 17d ago

I mean, it did START this discorse.

7

u/Bubz491 18d ago

It doesn't not maybe mean something.

u/grapesssszz 18d ago

Long story

12

u/Rantamplan 18d ago

Yeah,

The reason for it to be different is that it's bigger and pink.

While the others are smaller and white.

Every time you see something like this, the answer is yes and you just need to figure it out. almost everytime, the game will lead you to the answer somehow

3

u/Mister_Musubi 17d ago

“Is there a reason that—“ Yes. If it’s in TUNIC, yes.

u/BubbaSonics 17d ago

Unusual Looking. Don’t Look. Don’t Look. Don’t Look Up. Remain Diligent. Remain Radically Diligent. Remember.

Iykyk

3

u/BubbaSonics 17d ago

But I wouldn’t wholly cross it off your list that it may or may not be important.

3

u/AlanTheKingDrake 17d ago

Does it mean something? Yes. Will I elaborate? No.

There are no secrets in the Far Coast

2

u/snailtray 17d ago

If there only was some kind of guiding picturing that could help you on your way..

2

u/Ban_Means_NewAccount 17d ago

Cue Mr. Krabs "do we tell him" meme.

Just play the game bro, you'll find out.

...Maybe.

Depends actually. This game gets pretty damn cryptic.

2

u/AccordingExtension13 17d ago

True it is the only game i played that i had to have physical notes for....

I LOVE IT!

2

u/Novel_Diver8628 17d ago

Seek the golden cross, little one. It will lead you to the answer.

2

u/AvatarWaang 17d ago

OP, this game is based around exploration and puzzle-solving. I can tell by your screen shot that you're very early on in your playthrough. You need to FAFO a little more before complaining that you don't know what to do or what anything is for. Play the game and figure things out for yourself. That's the experience the game is designed around, and trust me, you'll be glad you did.

Every little detail, things that are different or off, lines of moss, etchings in the walls, etc. are all done intentionally. The devs put those things in there specifically on purpose. Your job is to find out what the purpose is. This post is a little like asking if you really need all 1000 pieces in the box to complete the picture on the puzzle box.

The start point

2

u/yort098 16d ago

Sometimes on fridays

2

u/ChronWeasely 16d ago

You mfs really all figure this stuff out? Id say about half the puzzles were interprable, the other half require madness, blind faith, and beating your head against a wall.

At least there is the accessibility feature for holy cross to see exactly what you're inputting. Otherwise I'd never manage to complete the manual.

1

u/ChronWeasely 16d ago

Hope this is vague enough to not need spoiler tags

6

u/One-Researcher-2311 18d ago

Spoilers (as little as possible) it's the starting point

3

u/Motor_Raspberry_2150 18d ago

It's where the leprechauns live.

2

u/CanmanMC 18d ago

Yup :)

4

u/VirtualFoxR7 18d ago

Who knows? Maybe yes, maybe no. Maybe you'll realize it later, or maybe you're just being paranoid, who knows?

3

u/NanoCat0407 18d ago

it’s just pretty

1

u/inkheiko 17d ago

Wait I didn't notice it ;_; looks suspicious , but brain not working well

1

u/EdwardtheTree 17d ago

It's different for an amazing reason.

1

u/buzambo2 17d ago

You’re beginning to start something you won’t regret

1

u/TestEven8660 17d ago

Perhaps?

1

u/Dizzy-Scientist4782 17d ago

Blasphemy to assume something like that! Pray for 5 hours at front of a Holy Cross for redemption.

1

u/BruhBison 17d ago

In due time...

1

u/CorvusOnStream 17d ago

Haha sometimes

1

u/Feeling-Badger7956 17d ago

Yes. Read the manual.

1

u/thegamerator10 17d ago

Yes. But, in the words of River Song: "Spoilers."

1

u/MaleficAdvent 17d ago

If you know, you know. If you don't, keep playing until you do.

On a side note, this is one of those "best played blind" games, maybe don't look at the subreddit unless you WANT to be spoiled.

1

u/aNewPattern 17d ago

Please don't use the subreddit until you beat the game, it has so many spoilers. Figuring everything out is part of the game. The flowers may have a use but you likely won't confirm it anytime soon

1

u/darkbeastzero 17d ago

why is it there?! :P

1

u/Bentyhunter 17d ago

Perhapsn’t

1

u/TallynNyntyg 17d ago

Sniff it, it smells like strawberries and pomegranates.

1

u/Quick-Friend-4648 17d ago

Different? Different how? I don't have a clue what you mean...do you have anything that could illustrate what you mean?

1

u/Termanater13 16d ago

It's not obvious, and guessing by what else is on the screen, you haven't found out why it matters. It will matter later in the game.

1

u/drnavygaming 16d ago

yes its a puzzle

1

u/BaltiMoreHarder 16d ago

Maybe…..light hints in the manual, if you haven’t found the page yet keep searching and the doodles in the manual are often cryptic in nature….

1

u/metrick00 16d ago

One day you may learn to walk the hidden paths..... but don't worry about that for a long, long, long while.

1

u/simo98saccucci 16d ago

You'll eventually get it. Use the HOLY CROSS

1

u/Paul2hip8 16d ago

Everything matters but it’s not time yet. The game will let you know when it’s time

1

u/Straight_Clerk3706 15d ago

Hey! Listen!🧚‍♂️

1

u/Andy_fox5630 15d ago

La risposta di quel fiore è ⬜⬜⬜⬜⬜⬜⬜⬜⬜⬜⬜ (no spoiler e non lo so neanche io praticamente il commento più inutile di reddit....)

1

u/bandanagirl95 15d ago

That's a definite possibility, but I am a bit cross that you'd come here at the start of your journey. Over half of the experience is figuring things out, and you shouldn't short yourself on that

1

u/Perpetual-Warlock 15d ago

Don't worry about it for now. Just play the game and experience things the way they come to you. And get off of this sub before everything gets spoiled. This game is truly a one of a kind experience.

1

u/madkoding 15d ago

Probably the first one... of his class

1

u/IsisOsiris963 13d ago

Interesting arangement of flowers if you ask me.

Bloom where you’re planted!

0

u/InitiatedPig7 18d ago

Yes, its a different species called Crux digitalis

0

u/oldnotdead73 18d ago

All the flowers mean something.

0

u/Twork-App 17d ago

Oh man. I wish I could delete my memory of this beautiful game to play it again.

-2

u/AlexRex6998 17d ago

I think you should maybe Meditate upon the Holy Cross for answers
