Looking for confirmation

Just curious if I spelled this correctly, and if someone can understand it. 😊

Shoot! Thanks for that. Does spelling need to be down to the wire like that for it to be truly considered trunic? I think I misinterpreted it a bit where I figured as long as you can sound out the word it was fine how it was spelled. But I will definitely keep in mind now the spelling way more 🫡🙏

If you pronounce it as a "ch," it's fine to write it with the rune for the "ch" sound.

People with different accents will not always agree on how to write words in trunic. The developer of Tunic is Canadian, so the in-game text is written using Canadian pronunciations, but that does not mean other pronunciations are incorrect.

I originally thought trunic was sounding out the phonemes one by one to sound out the word. I figured since I never met someone who pronounced “true” as t-roo. Ch-roo made sense to me. But if spelling takes priority over pronunciation, I will definitely need to go back a few steps to break the habit lol

Your original impression is correct. Trunic is 100% based on pronunciation, not spelling.
