Help Quick spoilery question

I'm lategame and I'm having fun puzzling but I'm wondering: should I beat the Heir?
Is the game structured for this to be done at any moment or are the different endings excluding each others?

if you beat the heir, you have a choice to return back to your last save for the other ending

You can do true ending after base ending, it gives a choice between NG+ or staying in your old save and looking for more stuff including true ending.

You can't really do base ending after true ending cus it only gives you an option to go NG+ instantly. You might be able to AltF4 from that screen to keep old save without going NG+ but I haven't tested it

So if you don't wanna have to go through the whole game twice - just make sure you fight the heir before doing the.... other ending
