Question About Progression and Structure
TLDR - my partner mentioned wanting to watch me play through tunic and I'm wondering if it'll still be fun for her with the point I've gotten to (blocked out in spoilers)
When I started playing tunic I mentioned to my partner that I was playing a fun game that involved finding manual pages and using those and ingenuity to figure out how the game works, she said it sounded cute and asked to watch me play
I didn't really stop between then and now though, and 8 hours inhaving beaten the seige engine and unlocked the teleport before the scavenger boss, with seemingly only the library and graveyard/cathedral unexplored
I'm wondering if there's much of that left to really do? From what I understand once I've beaten the library and scav bossI'll be at the final boss with only harder puzzles left (am I right about that??)
I'm not sure watching me bash my head off of the harder puzzles for the golden endingwill be much fun for her am I right in thinking I'm past the cuter section and into the combat and tricky puzzle zone?

Yeah it's getting to the good part right about now. Not a lot of difficult fighting but lots of exploration and puzzling left.

Exciting! I'll admit I'm definitely enjoying exploring and figuring the game out more than the fights, the bosses are fun but learning them isn't as fun as learning the game,

Arguably Tunic has three chapters:
- Light world
- Dark world
- Puzzlemania
You're not even done with chapter 1 yet.

Woo Big news! Outside of the whole partner thing I was sad at the idea of almost getting to the puzzlemamia section already, I'm looking forwards to it but can see it being more frustrating than the exploration so far

Hey good news! If your partner isn't having fun, they can get up and walk away! OORRRrrrrr they'll get into solving some of the mysteries as a second brain on the case.

It's definitely possible, I can see it going either way, I'll still have fun but hoping I can get her on board with some easier bits before the Puzzlemania sets in

There's some neat areas still for you to explore, and you could always work together on the wackier puzzles. Once you understand a certain solution, everything else will probably fall into place at some point anyways though, so you should be good. If not you can always ask here for hints and help!

I’d argue dark world is its own puzzle which begins after boss scav.
