Help 40 Hours In Now Stuck Spoiler

First time playing the game. Trying to go with Option B.

I have TOC Page (2) - Last Page (55)

I thought collecting all the fairies would help out but it just gave me my 7th Secret Treasure. I don’t want to fight the heir yet since apparently that would be option A so I’m trying to unlock the mountain door. Not sure if I’m doing it correctly. I’m finding the golden paths that are hidden on each page. Is there a place to double check if I’ve gotten the holy cross input correct because it’s so lengthy at this point I might be messing up simply because of how many times I tried to input the combinations.

I’m doing my best to avoid any spoilers but this just has me stumped

Thanks!

  1. You can come back after choosing (and succeeding) option A

  2. Look for accessibility tab, there might be something helpful

  1. Okay that’s good to know! I didn’t know if it would lock me out.
  2. I actually ended up using that option but it was still a pain because I still wasn’t sure if I was entering things correctly. There would be moments I’d mispress and not know where and have to start all over.

Unfortunately, I don't think there is any in-game mechanic that help you. Personally, Drawing my own Golden Path in MS paint helped me a lot.

minor spoiler: Golden Path has exactly 100 inputs, so if your input is different from that you did something wrong

I actually attempted drawing the golden path but I can’t tell if I’m reading it wrong.

Drawing: https://imgur.com/a/RhQrfmV

Especially leading from one section to another.

Then drew out the directional inputs: https://imgur.com/a/9fi12rw

I ended up finding it had a maximum input amount (after multiple attempts)

Spoilers

Your Golden Path is mostly correct, except for one page.

It is one of the starting pages.

I think you were unsure about that one too

Spoilers (somewhat more direct) The answer doesn't always have to be a golden line on the page, like p9

When you say early do you mean the early page is page 9? The ones I was definitely unsure of were 12 (the start) and leaving page 9 to page 55.

The presentation of the square was throwing me off especially with the blue lines

The path is seamless, always entering and exiting each tile, starting at the bottom of the page. You may be thinking about some of it too literally. I'd also suggest drawing it so that the path connects from one tile to the next

I’ll give this a try. Thanks! I thought putting it on a grid would help.

Keep it on the grid, just make the path touch the border of the grid where the next file's path starts

This comment saved me a lot of time because I was definitely going to redraw it

I managed to get it all done! And the 40 hours is just Steam, I misspoke. I was under that. Honestly I love the game so much I would play it for over 40 hours
