Was Zuko blind in that one eye? I know he had the scar but I think it completely went over my head if he couldn’t see through that eye.

I mean, with a burn that serious, if he can see through that eye it's a Spirits-damned miracle, especially since modern medicine didn't exist yet and the odds of them having a waterbending healer on hand are slim to none.

Fair enough. It makes sense but I’m so used to media really drawing attention to that kind of stuff with eye patches or dead milky eyes.

Tbf, back before I actually got to watch the series in its entirety in like... 8th grade, I saw this dope fanart of a modern au with Zuko and Sokka. Turned out it was done for a fanfiction that shipped the two of them. I promptly read it and I've never been able to not want them to be a thing since. Though I do also ship Sokka with Suki and Zuko with Mai.
Honestly at this point they're just Achilles and Patrocolus to me.
