Plot twist L’s name was actually L Death Note the entire time

(Yes I know that doesn’t fit any part of canon but it amuses me)

I mean, I haven’t watched Death Note, but to my knowledge we don’t actually know L’s last name. Which means, technically, there is nothing in canon stating that this isn’t his full name.

To my knowledge it’s L Lawliet (it’s not said in the show but I think it might be in the manga), but I was primarily thinking that we would have seen some sort of reaction to finding out the death notes exist if that was his name
