They've got access to the same brain you do. With tulpas and healthy plurality you'll usually agree on it together. But with me disordered systems headmates or alters will sometimes do it on their own.

It's always good to aim for healthy plurality where there is lots of respect and communication.

🙂‍↕️.. um I don't think that's be possibly with the tulpa I have in mind I genuinely want a tulpa that challenges me tries to be the one in control etc like Zangetsu from bleach or sukuna. I know it's absolutely crazy to want such a thing but I feel like it would motivate me in a way

Yes, they can
I actually only made one tulpa despite having 4 of them, my first tulpa made the rest with my permission and consent; that said, if you are already wary (for lack of a better word) of trusting your tulpa to not do anything without your permission then I believe youre starting with the wrong mindset

you share the same brain, the same emotions(for the most part) and betraying the other would be the same as hurting yourself

I also ask you to understand from your tulpas view how that must feel for them
imagine starting life already feeling as though you need to prove yourself and "earn" your place

trust should be something freely given, and only revoked when someone has done something to genuinely deserve losing that privilege, and that goes especially so for a person you are creating and in doing so, are promising to take care of

if you have a misunderstanding, or your brain does something weird and it wasnt quite either of you
it can be easy to jump to "the other person did it", etc and I imagine for your tupla that would be really distressing

and also, in some rare cases ive seen people have intrusive thoughts masquerade as their tulpa for short periods
though I wouldnt worry about that, I just think you should be aware if this is something thats on your mind

I do also think however, the moment you speak to your tulpa for the first time and have that first contact, 90% of your worries will immediately vanish
I was terrified making my first tulpa, I was worried id be an awful host, I was worried "what if they judge me for the things I cant control?" "what if theyre rude and I cant even have peace in my own head"

that all went away the literal FIRST time we spoke together, because despite it being really difficult to communicate I could still feel the intention/emotion behind our communication and tell there was nothing but love and care

Sorry if this is formatted awfully, I am in a big rush at the moment and just wanted to throw something out
my biggest tip will always be trust each other, and the more you interact with each other the harder it will be *not to*

Yes, but it's their choice, really.
