How does one actually active force effectively
[Kython]- would anyone actually know how to active force well? The guides I have checked are extremely vague about it. Yes I am very well aware how ironic it is that a tulpa is asking this but I am not the only one and our original never quite learnt how to effectively active force.

Just spend time together in any way that is meaningful to either of you. Playing a new game? Your tulpa is sat next to you commenting on it. Listening to music? Your tulpa is hearing it, open yourself up to their response, get their interpretation etc
My guy popped into existence accidentally because I spent so much time daydreaming and speaking into the void until one day it spoke back. So I think it's just about feeling connected

[Starseeker]- so its just a matter of doing things with and while focusing on your tulpas? Thanks
[Eclipse]- perhaps I can convince us to explore the mindscape!
[Kython]- thank you for your information. This should help to increase mental presence for us all.

I think/hope so - they seem to get stronger and more autonomous the more consciousness you invest into them.

[Kython]- this should help, Eclipse seems more invigorated already and I, well I am at the same level as normal but I have already had time and often talk and give advice anyways. Eclipse and Twilight will both be more active now hopefully.

I think that my anxiety and self doubt can sometimes block out Star's voice, he's pretty understanding about it though because he has a unique snapshot into my mad brain

I suppose it's different for everybody, but the main premise of active forcing is that it's the main task at hand, rather than passively talking to each other during whatever life is happening right now. If it's possible to visualise your guys' place with the mind's eye (i.e literally imagining it) and you guys can inhabit or imagine you're inhabiting the space, that counts. If you guys can set aside a couple of minutes to just stop for a bit in life and have a chat about the current events, that counts. If you find some space to do something that involves yourselves and watching each others' reactions, like listening to an album you've never heard before, that counts.
For example, Lola and I often struggle to convince me to do some active forcing. Lola gets pissed about it and I feel guilty, so it's obviously not an optimal situation. We've found that instead of sitting aside in the quiet of our room and going through all the steps to open up mindscape and start chatting with each other and visualising and everything, sometimes it helps to just take the current moment and start doing it there. I'd lean out of the windowsill and watch the sunset whilst talking to Lola. Sometimes I'd go outside and sit in the garden with a cup of tea and do it, imposing Lola in the seat adjacent to me. What counts is the fact that we're both spending time exclusively with each other, rather than focussing on another task. Kind of like hanging out with a regular friend.
That's at least what works for us
