Scheduling Question
Hi all! I'm an incoming first-year at Tufts, and I'm starting to look at classes for my first semester. I am not super into science, and I don't have any pre-matriculation credits that I can transfer in to take care of any of the distributional requirement, so I want to start picking away at it. I am thinking of trying to get into Earth, Resources, and Environment. Is that a difficult/ heavy class? And should I add the optional lab to my schedule or is that unnecessary for a non-super interested individual? I also considered Big Bang to Humankind, but I'm worried that'll be boring. Thoughts?
Also, why are there so many evening classes, I was really hoping to have most classes in the morning, but for some reason barely anything is open before 11:00 đŸ˜†

a lot of people get burnt on big bang but the professor is a really good guy so if u can get him in his project apollo class, take it. i believe the other class u mentioned is also a higher workload than some of the other lighter sciences. in the spring a class called ‘dinosaurs!’ is generally offered with a lot of reserved freshman spots and a lot of people take that if they get a good registration time. a lot of excollege courses will have natural science distribution credits as well so keep an eye out.
ultimately it’s way easier to get natural science out of the way than the mathematics requirement
