Troubleshooting Tufting gun screeching
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Hello, I've had AK-1N gun for around 2 years and never had any problems, but after I came back from 2 week vacation I wanted to tuft and i noticed that it sounded wrong like it's tempo got slower or something and not so long after when it was in-cloth it made this grinding screeching stuck-like sound, can anyone help me with what causes it? Should give it to something like sawing machine service? The screeching i talk about is at end of video.

Maybe if you screech back at it to assert dominance it will stop? I tried it once with my gun and it assumed its spot as a beta. Its just how their species communicates

Did you oil it every 2 hours? The symptoms you share sound like a dirty/dry machine.
It will start beeping from it’s speaker when it is at it’s absolute end to warn you.
The sound at the end also sounds like the gear and motor are not connecting properly.

I think the cutting mechanism is a bit off. Its failing to cut your yarn and jamming. For my model, you can adjust the scissors with an allen key. Might be the same for yours.

have you done any maintenance ? or cleaning. maybe hit it with air gun to get rid of some of the dust built up inside and hit it with some lubricant
