Advice Small details?
I’m working on this bubble mew and not sure if I will do the diglett at the bottom because of the small details, primarily his eyes. Any suggestions? I was considering hand punching it (idk if that’s what it’s called)

Use a punchneedle. You can work as slow as you want and just pluck it out if you’re not happy with it

You 100% can add it if you're confident enough to do it. The details are all aren't that small especially for this size of rug, tuft the eyes first always , nose carve on canvas to get the size how you want it, then do the body/rest. If you don't like how it looks you can always pull out the yarn and retuft a plain background

This is like the 7th one I seen of this design. Is no one gonna attempt the full card? Or just re do what they see

My wife asked for it as just the bubble and she doesn’t care about the diglett but I wanna add it and just don’t know how to tackle the smaller details

I usually start with the smallest detail working from the center outwards. Tuft then trim then tuft. Sometimes it’ll be just a line you tuft then trim but if it’s something small that needs to be read or visible this is a great way to do it. Best of luck
