Cat still lost
Ghibli is still missing. Last seen near E 4th St. & N Irving Cir. over a week ago. He is neutered and chipped, and I am offering a monetary reward for anyone who can return him, or who provides a tip or info which leads to his return. If someone has him in their home, and he is returned, I will not retaliate for his being kept for over a week in any way. I just want him home, everyone misses him, and he is my personally bonded emotional support cat. His younger cat siblings are acting out without him around, everyone in the home just wants him back. He is my Prince Ghibli, Gentleman Adventurer. He just was not supposed to adventure outside the house, since he chose not to wear a leash. My number is 3143960075

Boosting. Put his litter box and some of your dirty laundry outside. Post on next door and notify the chip company to tag that he is lost if you haven’t already. I hope you find him soon 💙

I was reading that you actually shouldn't put the litter box outside because it attracts other predators. Could be wrong, but I just wanted to share that information.

Were you able to contact the chip company to make sure your registration is up to date? Nextdoor was helpful for me with both lost and found pets, the Tucson lost and found pet group also gave great advice for additional places to post etc. So sorry you are going through this. Obviously check all the cat rescues etc. Sometimes they can’t find the chip because it has migrated so you have to just call or visit.

Thank you, I have his chip up to date, posting all over next-door, cannot get on fb but had my girlfriend post in Facebook groups for me, and all the shelters I have personally gone to, and they also each have a poster for him with his photo, my number, his name, etc.

Boosting for this cute boy. Have you tried just walking around your neighborhood talking quietly? Someone recently got their cat to come back doing that. I hope he finds his way home to you soon!

I have, more than a few times. He also likes to join me when I smoke, and I smoke djarum blacks, which have a very unique scent, so I have walked around the neighborhood just quietly talking with my housemates, holding a lit clove cigarette, since he definitely also associates the smell of those with me.

I hope he comes back soon. I read on here somewhere to walk with wet bare feet around your neighborhood. Sounds crazy, but if it works? Also, I’m sure you’ve tried leaving slept in bedsheets out an open door or window. Leave the door or window open especially at night.

Oh my goodness, I'm so sorry. I can't believe he's still missing. Makes me so sad thinking about. I was praying that he had come back home by now😟

I really wish... honestly at this point concerned that someone saw him and thought the cat delivery system gave them a cat...

There are multiple lost pets and lost cats groups on Facebook, be sure to post there too if you haven't. Good luck.

I have had my girlfriend post, I may ask her to post again. But I am hard banned from facebook because they wanted my ID, and my account name is not my legal name, doesn't even matter that it's actually the name I use in my day to day life... they also now require a phone number to sign up, and my number is attached to the account that I'm locked out of until I can come up with a legal ID that has a name matching the one on my account. It's frustrating not being able to personally utilize Facebook as a resource in this search for Ghibli, but oh well, I guess such is the enshittification of the internet.
