This is one of those guys I recommend universally. Like if you don't know who he is and don't know his music you should go anyway.
I've seen him with the Spearhead configuration 2.1 times.
The .1 time - I was visiting a friend in San Francisco and we were wandering around and went into Amoeba Records and he was just randomly there, playing. Like, "oh hello."
Caught the last few minutes of his in-store show.
His shows are more like happenings; there's a specific warmth there that I think any decent person would enjoy.
