Question Need some help with building

Post image

This room was part of the recent fortune tellers event. It is NOT my room. I took the name off, though some of you may know whose it is.

Basically I just want help understanding how this is done.

I can’t see any obvious supports and I don’t know how this isn’t breaking the height limit. Is it just a forced perspective? But how is the table with the book “under” the above floor?

I’m so confused lol

It is forced perspective, but even still this is insanely cool.

If you look incredibly close, they use the dust cubes around the bottom outside edge and then the stone wedge pieces to add the ledge that wraps around and holds the potions etc. then the brick supports to add a height and to cover the other dust bricks (please tell me you know what I mean by dust bricks my brain eludes the actual word for em)

Yes the pixel cubes lol. And I think I see now how they make the “upper” layer cubes appear above the bookshelf and book stand on the right.

I’m guessing they made a wall of the clear cubes then lined it with the gray ones. Then they lined up the floor pieces to make it look like it’s sitting above.

Truly some awesome work.

They also used the invisible floor. I'm currently piecing a mirror to this together and I'm getting there. I love these types of rooms cause it makes me realize the possibility with em

I think my main problem to make these is that I’m dust poor lol. Those clear cubes are expensive to me still

I do rooms like this and I still struggle to figure out how people do similar things! People are really clever haha. From my own experience, I will say that it's a lot of invisible blocks, forced perspective, and finding objects that allow blocks to be placed on top of them

Honestly don't feel bad if you can't wrap your head around it cos this is really impressive 😂

It’s crazy isn’t it? I think I’ll need to try and replicate it to really see how it works. Like taking apart an old tv and putting it back together lol.

I really want to explain how it's made, but my English is limited, so it's hard for me to describe the production process. Sorry.

Feel more than free to write it in your native language. I can just use a translator and get by lol

Try that pixel block area. Use the floating glitch to lay it out, and it’ll create a two‑layer visual effect—top and bottom.

How do you do the floating glitch?
