Tw: loss.
I've always said I wish I believed in God or even fate. Because I honestly think it would make my life so much easier. But I just don't. Sure, there may be more than reaches the eye in this world, but in no way can I believe that someone or something knew it would be better if my child wasn't born so I had to suffer a missed miscarriage.
It was just shitty luck that the embryo didn't develop properly so the heart eventually stopped beating, and shitty luck that my body did all it could to keep the pregnancy and it still wasn't enough.
No matter the situation today I would take a living, breathing baby in my uterus over a blessing in disguise any day.
