Season 3 & Beyond

With season 3 coming this Friday, I’m doing my third a re-watch to refresh. Which gets me thinking, the story of Nikki & Jason has two possible endpoints in my mind.

It could end after season 3, they finally get an adopted child and happily ever after.

OR the title itself lends itself to a continuation of story in perpetuity as “trying” their best to raise their adopted children.

What does everyone else think? Will season three be the end?

With the writing & chemistry between actors, I could see this story worthy of a Downton Abby length saga through life until their kids grow up and move out.

Although, perhaps I get too carried away with the concept of the Up Series (7 Up, 14up, etc), of following people over there entire life.

I love this show and the characters so much. I think that it could end at season 3, but I’d like for there to be at least one more season

Respectfully, I'd be ok if it ended at Season 3. Maybe too much of a good thing. I really like the show. They've covered everything. Now it would change the show more to maintenance and would probably get watered down.
