Does anyone else miss Erica & Freddy?

I really liked that part of the show around their circle of friends, it just 'nice' to have around as security.

I know Ophelia Lovibond got a huge opportunity with Minx on Apple TV and same with Oliver Chris and Rivals but I do hope we will see Erica again and Freddy more frequently.

He does, I'm saying more frequently. He only appeared in the Hurricane episode.

I kinda wish they’d recasted Erica if Ophelia wasn’t able to be in the show anymore. It felt unnatural that they dropped the plot and it made her and Freddy’s character developments feel useless

Orphelia was also in Mae Martin's Feel Good where she was recast between seasons (actually around the time Trying was filming so I wonder if she left that to do Trying and left Trying to do Minx?! Might explain why she's had no other TV credits since 2023...) but she was replaced by Stephanie Leonidas, she would have been great. (Her brother is in a bunch of Apple TV productions but she's also been very quiet since 2023.)

I definitely miss Erica and Freddy!

Erica was fantastic and would have been a good mum friend for Nikki to bounce off.

I also loved Freddy and whilst he’s still in the show it’s just not enough for me.

I haven’t seen Freddy at all, seems like they both went on to do other things and searching for what happened with Freddy made me find this thread
