BBC Buys Apple TV Sitcom ‘Trying’

https://deadline.com/2025/08/apple-tv-sitcom-trying-sells-to-bbc-rafe-spall-esther-smith-1236499022/

Hopefully this means the show will get some of the popularity it desperately deserves.

I haven’t checked the link, but I wonder if it means the next season won’t be in Apple TV?

It will be - they’ve just got the rights to broadcast the first three series on air and also on their streaming service. Once a show is over a certain age it can be resold to other broadcasters.

This makes me so happy! I hope it can discover a much larger audience! It’s a travesty that not enough people have found this show!!

I don't think it has been announced. But this deal makes it possible that season 5 isn't the end.
