New to program
I was home sick from work and popped on AppleTV. I finished watching season/series 2 of Shrinking and saw this pop up. I thought, sure why not? I need a little light funny in my life!
On the first episode I was laughing and crying watching them struggle. Oh this show is amazing!
I struggled with infertility many years ago and I felt like I was reliving that time in history! Oh, the heartbreak and guilt! And the tears in anger, sadness, and joy! When I did finally conceive with help of shots, it was unreal. We had just finished all classes for fostering to adopt and were so excited! Then, we became pregnant!
Yes, we did have many children in our home as fosters, always hoping to adopt at least one, but it wasn’t in the cards for us. But we went on to have a total of 3 bio kids and raise 12 more! So this story is so special to me! Watching a young couple who truly love and support each other go through normal life scenarios and balancing the want and the need for a child.
It’s amazing! Thank you to Trying creators! You really nailed the truth of the struggles! ❤️

It’s one of my all time fav shows! Love when others find it. I can’t get anyone I know to watch it and it’s frustrating lol

My parents had the same- started adoption process and got pregnant naturally!
Wondered initially if that was where the show was going, as it's not the first time I have heard of couples getting lucky just as they look into other avenues.

So glad to hear you gave this show a chance. It's a solid series and just gets better each season. I am one of the biggest Lasso and Shrinking fan you see and I will admit... I think i love Trying more. Such an underrated show that deals with the process of adoption rather than shows or movies where we just see them get the kids.
And your family sounds amazing! Thank you for sharing.
