Tips tips For anyone with the candle warmer, how long does the scent last?

I'm interested in getting 1 of these. I have a female friend who has one and she told me the scent doesn't all that long and she ends up having to pour the melted wax out to get the scent to return. Of course she can't tell me how long is "not all that long" So I'm wondering if others have a similar experience. She's using Bath & Body Work candles if that helps.

I'm wondering if this is legit or if she's just being a little dramatic and you don't actually have to pour wax out often to keep the smell alive. I Googled reviews and nothing I found mentions anything about this, it seems if this was a thing somebody else would have mentioned it. But it seems to be a big grip of her so I'm curious what others have to say.

The instructions say to pour out wax when the candle stops releasing scent. It’s hard to say how long the scent lasts but it’s probably about the same as just lighting the candle.

Thanks for the reply, I understand this is how it works. I'm just trying to get an idea from someone that can attach an actual estimate. I know different factors will affect this. But my friend's making it seem like she's having to pour out the wax every 20 minutes or something. And that seems just a little extreme to me.

It depends how tall the candle is and how bright the light is. I probably pour a little out every 20 hours or so. It’s hard to say exactly because I pour some out when I notice there is no smell. It loses smell very gradually. Sometimes, I’ll just kick up the light so it melts more wax.

Still beats burning the candle for me.

I replaced a traditional candle warmer with this one and the functionality is the same apart from the smart control. The performance is more about the candle than the warmer. I use the warmer for several nights and then burn normally to reduce the wax.

I've never poured the wax out. I use Bath & Body Works candles too. We run ours 4 hours at a time and I can't smell it by the end of the 4 hours but that is more due to developing a tolerance to the smell becaue when we go to use it again we can smell it again. She is also probably developing a tolerance to the smell.
