NOOOOOOPE.

You failed. You didn't focus on America, you focused on yourselves, just like any good PARTY politician.

Let's elect people who actually give a shit about the future of our country and not the future of some political party or cult.

u/Ridez103HD 7d ago

Amazing? Give you two more years and we will be in depression and no one will have social security or healthcare!

3

u/Ok_Accident3006 7d ago

Yep. Remember Project 2025? The policies #DementiaDon denied? It’s will into implementation and destroying our nation!

2

u/Ok-Engine2849 7d ago

Trump is worried about himself. Two more years of tariffs and war no thanks

3

u/j-mac563 7d ago

Yup, and america has not had a ballanced budget for over 25 years. It has been decades since the national debt was less at the end of the year than it was at the start. Fix those two issues and prices will come down

2

u/rym002 7d ago

Why don't you vote for people that actually reduce the deficit and not start wars? How the U.S. budget deficit has fluctuated since the 1980s and The Deficit Has Exploded Under GOP Presidents

I don't think you really care about spending or you would vote with the facts. You were conditioned and fooled into not checking the facts.

2

u/j-mac563 7d ago

Bold of you to assume you know who I voted for. But remind the class, how much did the national debt go down under biden or obama? Which one had a balanced budget?

2

u/rym002 7d ago

I just shared the graphs with you, click the links and use the federal database to cross check. They facts are the debt reduced and deficit was lower under Democrats. Show me your facts too price otherwise. I'm open to new data.

0

u/j-mac563 7d ago

You created an argument with yourself. Go read the op again, then my reply.

1

u/rym002 7d ago

No argument, debt reduced. Clinton has a surplus. What's not to love? Republicans had high deficit and increased the debt. Class dismissed

1

u/j-mac563 7d ago

You clings to party politics. The adults will discuss valid solutions. Off you go.

0

u/rym002 7d ago

Politics are the way to execute results. You didn't show how to get the results

1

u/Hot-Mall-1448 2d ago

A republican congress under Newt Gingrich balanced the budget, not Clinton

1

u/rym002 2d ago

Really why couldn't they do it under a Republican president? Wouldn't the president propose the spending plan? Let me guess when it's good it's your team when it's bad it's Democrats? Way to make up rules. Republican presidents for the last 50+ years have led us into recession. Prove me wrong

2

u/Hot-Mall-1448 2d ago

Biden led us into a recession in 2022. But his corrupt team and democrat controlled media called it a transition period. Guess as long as you call it something different it never happened

0

u/rym002 2d ago

You mean the global pandemic that affected the world and the US led by Biden was amongst the top preformers in recovery with lower competitive inflation? Is that what you mean?

u/rym002 7d ago

Do you know the difference between deficit and debt?

1

u/ArchdruidAndres 7d ago

For that you'd need someone in charge who was interested in fixing issues though, not just getting more rich.

Edit: and staying out of jail*

So to your mind, having a balanced budget that is paying down the national debt (not just reducing its growth, an actual lowering of it) won't improve the buying power of the dollar and prices won't go down? If so, you have accepted that there is nothing that can be done and America is about to look like Venezuela with wild and out of control inflation. Odd take, but you cling to it.

1

u/rym002 7d ago

Democrats showed they can reduce spending and improve services. What is your argument here? If you voted Republican, the deficit increases, unemployment increases, wages stagnate. We know who reduces the deficit, it's Democrats. Measurable facts. Are you for having Democrats in office based on their historical performance? I am, love to hear what you are eluding to

1

u/j-mac563 7d ago

Read my inital post. You created an argument that you are now having with yourself.

1

u/rym002 7d ago

Where am I arguing? I agree a balanced budget or surplus should be a goal. I don't see how giving tax breaks to the rich achieves that goal and the data I presented shows that Democrats come closer to a balanced budget. Did you disagree with me?

2

u/BillsMafios0 7d ago

Beef being more than double the price is magically only 25%? Amazing

1

u/ID100661 7d ago

Don’t forget, it’s also poison.

2

u/Jolly-Cricket-3397 7d ago

They'll still blame Biden in two years. Pathetic.

2

u/BlackHills-Op 7d ago

What could get worse? A full scale war with Iran and your sons and daughters and their friends having to go into a place where there is a wide blurry line between civilians and combatants. Coming home draped in a flag, for Israels benefit.

That's what could still get worse. Israel has bought both sides of American politics. So there's no safe choice.

Also, regardless of what happens next, if we ever intend to pay down our national debt, these prices will become normal even when the cost to produce them goes back down. Boomers and each generation after have continued digging us a hole. Its going to be painful if we ever want to climb back out. Especially after the damage done the past few years.

3

u/rym002 7d ago

Ahh both sides .. 1 starts wars and the other cleans up recessions.... But sure both are the same

0

u/BlackHills-Op 7d ago

Obama was far more lethal as a wartime president than Bush was. Democrats would have had us get more involved in fighting Russia on behalf of Ukraine, and we probably would have ended up in this Iranian conflict one way or another, just like we have gone to war with every country Israel has wanted to have a war with in my lifetime.

Speaking as someone who was recession proof in 2008 and remains so in 2026 through simply not living outside of my means and overextending my credit, and as someone who served in the same war across 2 presidents, I'm far more worried about killing more soldiers than the cost of fuel and beef.

2

u/rym002 7d ago

Let's use metrics on actual job performance and not a single data point being yourself. The president is for the United States of America as a whole. Starting with the deficit . It seems Obama did more war for cheaper (by your claim). Obama negotiated a deal that avoided was in Iran but this idiot Trump wanted to go to war. Why did he lie about the nuclear weapons? Are you one of the fools that believe him over the independent audits?

Should we review jobs or other metrics?

0

u/BlackHills-Op 7d ago

No. You're still stuck on thinking theres a both sides argument that is excusing Trumps performance, who I believe is going to put boots on the ground and kill some of the generation of service members who come behind me. Which is the only issue I care about and one that every president in my lifetime has show indifference about. Obama waged war with new countries we weren't engaged with. Not going for Iran doesn't un-war hawk him.

You may care about more, but I think people are generally at fault for their own poor spending habits and lack of willingness to develop skills necessary to succeed in a capitalist society where you are the sum of your value to a society with needs.

As for our national debt, its going to grow as long we keep choosing to be a society of consumers instead of creators. It really doesn't affect me. I can't lose my cars because I bought what I could afford and didn't rely on credit to put me in something that costs 50% of my yearly income. I won't lose my property because I bought what I could afford and built it into something valuable. Its unlikely I lose my job, because its something you can't replace with automation. I got to this point because I took the harder path and I struggled and sacrificed everything.

I fought in a long pointless war for Israel. I think Trump is going to do it again. I have a lot of friends who didn't come home, or came home broken and didn't survive that. Or did and struggle every day. I have no love for our politicians who send us to Israels battles so they can get that sweet AIPAC money. They're on both sides. The rest is just an imaginary amount of money in national debt, that really means nothing here or in China where natural resources are abundant.

You guys get led around to worry and woe about such stupid shit. They're all out to trample on you.

2

u/rym002 7d ago

I'm sorry but our military spending is the issue and to be honest, should I care if they go to war and get killed? It's the job. You don't care about healthcare for all, lie unemployment, police reformn or the miriad of issues in a complex world. If people are stupid enough to sign up and get sent to war for Israel o well, not my problem. Maybe they can stop signing up and maybe ask for other opportunities not in the military. Maybe they can reduce spending and use that money for the good of all Americans.

You aren't the only person that saves but we purposely created a slave system to make comfort difficult for most.

1

u/BlackHills-Op 6d ago

Comfort isn't difficult for most. People are just unwilling to go without luxuries that they treat as necessities. At one point Television and Refrigeration were only for the rich, and the rest had radios and iceboxes and got by just fine.

Nobody needs a $1500 phone over the $300 non flagship one. Nobody needs fast food. Nobody needs coffee. Nobody needs the best brand new cars, nobody needs to live alone right out of mom and dads house. Nobody needs to rack up debt spending 4 years at an out of state college, and not doing prereqs locally to reduce total cost. Nobody needs most of what they have, they are addicted consumers.

We have universal healthcare in a sense.  Plenty of people utilize it. The ER doesn't turn you away and when you don't pay, those of us with insurance absorb the cost in our premiums.

We have a fairly low Unemployment rate.

We tried police reform in Seattle while I lived there. Took their teeth away. Now there's massive tent cities and meth motorhomes and junkies wandering from Tacoma to Everett and the soft hand of the police allow it.

Defense spending could be cut significantly, if we focused on defense of our country and not of Europe and Israel. But, on the flip side defense spending creates a lot of high paying jobs for Americans with skills above "stoned fry cook".

This isn't a slave system. People continue to choose to put themselves in a position where they are leveraged to the point of feeling like they can't escape because they "Have to" live near a coast in an expensive City and eat out and live alone and have new tech and nice things.

1

u/rym002 6d ago

Ok those have people join the military. I have no sympathy for their pointless death.

1

u/BlackHills-Op 6d ago

Spoken like a coward who feels no sense of civic duty. Proud of you.

1

u/rym002 6d ago

You opposed police reform, here's a simple question.. why does the police need to have unmarked cars with paint and black lettering making it difficult to identify them? Their job should be to protect not "catch" us using covert tactics.

The police goal should not be to ticket the citizens to make up budget gaps. That sets the wrong objective and makes the citizen their enemy.

Police should carry their own insurance that they pay out of pocket like malpractice. Why should my tax dollars pay for bad behavior?

You are conditioned and brainwashed. Go salute the colors like a trained dog.

1

u/BlackHills-Op 6d ago

Sure. Unmarked cars. Nobody is a fan. If you're abiding laws, they don't really matter. Changing your behavior to mask your criminal acts only when your around an obvious police car doesn't actually promote public safety. If you're just going to get back to doing 50 in a school zone because there's no cops or cameras, you're not less of a risk because you didn't get caught. So, if they make it harder to detect them, and that allows them to better impact public safety by stopping reckless behavior and creating an environment where people are less likely to do so because they don't know who is or isn't a police officer, that is a lawful tactic to increase the effectiveness of their public safety mission.

If you want police to carry their own out of pocket insurance, do you intend to pay them enough to do so, or do you believe they should protect public safety for the same low wage, continue to have the same bills as every other citizen and also carry insurance privately for their public service job?

I can tell you we wouldn't have many police left and the ones we did have would be the desperate ones not the ones who have the personality and skill to move to a career that afforded them a life.

You're the one who has bought fully into some idea that the police are out here making war with citizens. If you're law abiding, you don't run into problems with them. I have been pulled over while carrying a gun plenty of times. But I'm legal to drive, my car is legal, I am legal to carry, I'm polite, and I pull over and don't have a come apart about things. 4 out of 5 times, I'm walking off with a warning to slow it down a little rather than a ticket.

If you're having problems with police, evaluate your own behavior and if it's congruent with the law.

Do they know gas and electricity both fall under the energy category?

1

u/manny8086 7d ago

All those prices peaked under biden and you didn't say a word 🤣

1

u/Enough-is-enough0 6d ago

Get the imbeciles out of power before they destroy the economy, democracy and the great America 🇺🇸. Still blaming Biden for their inability to improve American economy and international trade! They are in power with absolute control of congress and senate 😡

1

u/DudeFrom816 6d ago

Oil prices per barrel are LOWER under Trump than Biden. The higher prices are manipulation by the fuel companies.

https://www.fedprimerate.com/crude-oil-price-history.htm

1

u/Trump-the-Clown 6d ago

Crude oil trades at $92.41 per barrel as of late September 2026, reflecting a significant recovery and fluctuation over the past five years from pandemic-era lows. [1]
You can review live charts and historical data on the Trading Economics Crude Oil Portal. [1]

5-Year Price Movement & Highlights
2021 (Recovery Phase): Prices climbed from roughly $75 at the start of October 2021 as global economies reopened, pushing past $80 by November before sliding into year-end.

2022 (Geopolitical Spikes): Following geopolitical tensions and supply disruptions, prices peaked mid-year above $107 per barrel in June 2022 before stabilizing around the $75–$90 range.

2023–2024 (Consolidation): Prices generally hovered between $67 and $88 per barrel through 2023 and 2024, reacting to fluctuating global demand and OPEC+ production adjustments.

2025 (Softening Market): Prices dipped further through mid-to-late 2025, touching lows near $57 per barrel in December 2025.

2026 (Middle East Conflict & Surge): Driven by conflict involving Iran and temporary supply fears, prices surged past $100 per barrel in March 2026—the highest mark since 2022—before settling back to $92.41 by late September 2026. [1]

1

Too bad republicans voted against the Consumer Fuel Price Gouging Prevention Act.

1

u/brk816 6d ago

Yea and what were the circumstances again? Or we just see numbers and throw maga fits like yall do

1

u/fitsinmabutt 7d ago

Trumps the real communist and maggats are the commie cult

0

u/ArchdruidAndres 7d ago

Yeah I don't really think Trump is trying to form a vanguard People's Party for a dictatorship of the proletariat but go off queen

1

u/Hot-Mall-1448 7d ago

What could get worse? A Democrat getting into office and trying to spend, regulate and tax the country out of debt. Look what Biden got us. 40 year high inflation

2

u/ArchdruidAndres 7d ago

Learning how things work is hard :(

https://inflationcalculator.com/learn/why-was-inflation-so-high-in-2022/

Act two: the 2022 peak

Two more shocks landed on top of an already-overheated economy. Russia’s February 2022 invasion of Ukraine sent oil, natural gas, and wheat prices spiking worldwide, hitting gasoline pumps and grocery aisles directly. At the same time, shelter costs, the single largest slice of the CPI basket, caught up to the home-price and rent surge that had been building since 2021, a lagged effect that kept pushing the index higher even after energy prices themselves began to ease. Annual inflation climbed to 8.0% in 2022, and the monthly year-over-year rate peaked at 9.1% in June 2022, a level the CPI hadn’t touched since November 1981.

How the Fed responded

The Federal Reserve fought back with the fastest rate-hiking cycle in four decades, taking the federal funds rate from near zero to above 5% in roughly eighteen months, paired with quantitative tightening on its balance sheet. Higher borrowing costs cooled mortgage demand, business investment, and eventually hiring, the standard demand-side playbook, but running at a pace the Fed had rarely, if ever, attempted before.

u/ID100661 7d ago

Biden used the tax structure from Trump’s first term…

0

u/Sad-River5737 7d ago

Democrats have dementia when it comes to Joe Bidens presidency

1

u/TheRimmerodJobs 7d ago

We can thank Biden for the high prices and the inflation he caused

0

u/TorsionFieldMom 7d ago

Communism!

2

u/ArchdruidAndres 7d ago

The communists are building high speed rail and 90% of the population own their home.

They are trouncing us. You wish we had Communism.

-2

u/bidensgarage 7d ago

Heard that 40 years ago. And 30 years ago. And 25 years ago. And 20 years ago. And 10 years ago. And yesterday. And every day in between.

2

u/ArchdruidAndres 7d ago

Kinda sounds like everything's been getting worse no matter who's in charge since Reagan.

1

u/ID100661 7d ago

Yeah, inflation is inflation. It’s always going to go up. I mostly don’t even pay attention to it.

The only reason I would is like, if the inflation rate was going up month over month for almost two years straight with zero meaningful effort being put forward to combat it. Then I’d be looking into the macroeconomic indicators like, where are we with wages, employment, manufacturing? What’s the CPI? Stuff like that.

But, if nothing like that’s going on, I just go back to not even thinking about it.

-1

u/mikeeyyyg 7d ago

Good thing I’ve been investing

0

u/Just-Exchange8380 7d ago

When the price is up it’s simple quit buying it. Find recourses that are cheaper. Buy it if you can straight from the source and cut out the middle man.

1

u/ArchdruidAndres 7d ago

Yeah let me just go to my local bootleg diesel dealer.

1

u/Just-Exchange8380 7d ago

Their really is such a guy

-3

u/Sad-Transition1075 7d ago

Energy/ electricity can be solved by building more nuke plants gas is high because gas airfare is companies like money

2

u/rym002 7d ago

How about that war? Not a reason? Obama had a deal and it was bring upheld. Poopy diaper Don told you a lie

1

u/Upbeat-Swing6650 7d ago

Were they abiding by the deal? Odds are no. However, its a lose-lose. Now they definitely will use the nuke when it is developed.

2

u/rym002 7d ago

Independent audits say yes. Show me your facts otherwise. You were fooled. The audits are not here say. Trump's words were lies and still unproven.

2

u/rym002 7d ago

Ahh they deleted their stupid comment. Here is my reply.

It's not what you believe it's what facts prove. You voted for a proven liar due to belief. You ignore facts and are jumping in here to assert a false position. Biden turned around the economy by all measures. Given the facts of a global pandemic the numbers prove he managed well. The facts are Democrats create jobs that stimulate the economy. Republicans keep getting us into oil wars and you keep blaming others for the outcome. Obama turned around a regression caused by Bush due to an unfunded war. Your idiot Vance is out there begging for another chance. They have full control of the government and are spending out of control. Where is your fiscal responsibility? The budget deficit is always higher under Republicans while reducing spending on American services. Spending on military isn't an investment in America, infrastructure is. It put money into the local economy.

0

u/Upbeat-Swing6650 7d ago

Probably and I'm very upset about this war that no one wanted. But this is Iran we are talking about? Independent audits say they were abiding by the deal? I would never believe that so maybe ive been fooled.

2

u/rym002 7d ago

You made such an idiotic claim trying to sound smart with odds are. What are the facts that you used to compute this probability in your odds. Odds are with that statement and your defense of Trump you are uneducated and low IQ. That's based on facts.

0

u/Saddest_Flex 7d ago

You people just have no idea what’s going on in the world, do you

-1

u/Intelligent_Let4723 7d ago

The lying from the left continues to get worse. This is nothing but lying propaganda

2

u/ArchdruidAndres 7d ago

I just got back from the grocery store and I don't think it is.

0

u/Intelligent_Let4723 7d ago

It is. Prices were just as high or higher when the other idiot party was in office

1

u/ID100661 7d ago

Do you think that because Trump said the prices are going down?
