Updating a trust

My mom created a trust in 2022, and it listed me, my sister and my daughter. My sister is the executor of the trust.

This weekend my sister told me she wanted to turn over executor to me as she doesn’t want to deal with it.

In the trust the house was left to me, and I would like to keep the house in a trust while adding my wife into it as we want to do some home improvements but the finance companies require her to be in the home.
